In the case of resveratrol, more is not necessarily better. Volunteer studies show that mega doses of 500mg to 1000mg of resveratrol dosage everyday could cause adverse health effects. While these effects are not serious enough to cause permanent damage, experts still do not recommend that resveratrol be taken in such dosages.
